A rectangular block of sand-coloured stone, crossed by horizontal veins. The Sora LED travertine wall light is first read as a small cobblestone set against the wall. The pores and nuances of the stone are visible to the naked eye. The grain is irregular: small cavities, lighter bands, a sharp edge that catches the raking light. No glossy coating smooths the surface.
The light does not pass through the stone. It escapes from the top and bottom in thin beams that open like a fan. The block remains matte, the rays outlining the wall around it. Six small points of light housed on the two long sides of the block provide the rays. Each traces a point of light that widens as it moves away, then blends with its neighbors.
Above a console table, in a hallway, or near a headboard, it illuminates the wall rather than the room. The rest of the space retains a low light. The light stops halfway up the room. You notice it when you enter, but it does not interfere with the television or reading at the other end of the living room.
Sora exists in a single version. The block measures 22 cm wide by 8 cm. The LED source is integrated: there is no bulb to choose. The dimensions remain modest: it can be installed at eye level without obscuring a nearby frame.
The choice comes down to the wall. A light wall reflects the rays and makes them sharp. A dark wall absorbs some of them. Travertine is a natural stone: the veins vary from one piece to another. A matte finish or smooth paint gives the best result, as the rays spread across it without catching on any relief.
Therefore, there is no size or shade to decide on. The only possible adjustment is the location: the installation height and the distance from the ceiling determine the length of the rays directed upwards.
At the foot of the bed or on a console, a table lamp extends the same low light. The other wall lights in the shop allow you to compare shapes, materials, and light shades before choosing.
The stone remains matte, never shiny. When lit, it marks a precise point on the wall. When off, it remains a discreet mineral object. On a dark wall, it blends into the shade.
A Sora LED travertine wall light meets a specific need: to illuminate a wall without taking up floor space or surface area on furniture. The block replaces a console lamp, and the stone serves as decor.
It finds its place where a ceiling light would be too much: a landing, above a dresser, a stair wall. Wall installation, mounting plate and screws provided. Indoor use.

Any questions before you order?
Write to us, and we will advise you on the size, installation height, or setup.
How do I choose the right size?
Above a table, aim for about a third of its width. For a room, add the length and width in metres: the result provides a recommended diameter in centimetres. The exact dimensions are listed in each product description.
Are the light bulbs included?
Information regarding the bulbs (base, wattage, integrated LED or otherwise) is indicated in each product description. For a warm light, opt for a warm white around 2,700 K.
Can I install the light fitting myself?
If your ceiling or wall already has a light fitting point, installation remains simple. Always cut the power at the circuit breaker before working, and call an electrician if in doubt.
