Halo – Designer Ring Pendant Light

A wide, flat, white ring with an inner surface lined with a transparent material reminiscent of crystal shards. This LED ring pendant light measures 50 cm in diameter. The shards on the inner surface are more visible up close than from a distance.

Three thin cables connect the ring to a small white disc fixed to the ceiling. Light emerges from the inner strip and spreads into the space around the ring. The centre remains empty. The ceiling disc is the same colour as the ring, which makes the fitting blend in.

Above a round or oval table, it creates a regular circle of light. The rest of the room remains in semi-darkness. On a round table, the circle of light follows the shape of the tabletop. On a dark wood table, the white ring reflects off the surface, forming a second circle.

The ring measures 50 cm in diameter, and the ceiling mount 16 cm. The cables are adjustable up to 100 cm in height. The power is 48 W, with an advertised lighting area of 15 to 20 m². The lighting mode is tricolour: warm white, neutral white, or cool white. Warm white is suitable for a meal, neutral white for a hallway, and cool white for a workspace. The tricolour mode can be adjusted without changing any bulbs, as the LED is integrated.

The structure is made of iron, the inner strip of acrylic. The power supply is 220 V. The 48 W power is sufficient for a medium-sized room.

The 50 cm diameter is suitable for a table 80 to 100 cm wide. Beyond that, the ring looks small above a large table. For a longer table, consider two rings or a linear model. It is best to avoid ceilings that are too low to allow the light to spread.

The inner surface of the ring catches the light and reflects it in small glimmers. This effect is visible mainly from the side, while sitting at the table. The thin cables do not obstruct the view between guests.

A white or beige ceiling highlights the white of the ring. In a bedroom, the ring replaces a flush-mount ceiling light. A pair of 50 cm rings above a long table creates a regular alignment.
