Nova – Glass Globe LED Pendant Light

A long, horizontal black bar. On it, nine smoked glass globes at different positions and heights. This glass globe LED pendant light allows you to see the bulb inside each globe. The horizontal bar is thin and remains discreet.

The globes are not aligned: some hang below the bar, others rise above it. The warm light they contain tints the glass an amber colour. The smoked glass reveals the filament of each bulb.

Above a dining room table, the bar follows the length of the furniture. The globes form an even cloud above the guests. When turned off, the globes look like small grey bubbles. Seen from the side, the nine globes occupy three levels and create an effect of depth.

The spec sheet indicates a single version, with nine light rings. The structure is made of aluminium and iron, the diffusers of transparent glass. The LED is integrated. The advertised output varies from 249 to 2,000 lumens depending on the setting. There is approximately 80 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the lowest globes.

The three colour temperatures: warm white, neutral white, cool white. The warm white enhances the smoked tint of the glass. The surface mounting leaves no visible cable. If the table is narrow, ensure the globes do not extend too far beyond the edges.

Installation is surface-mounted, with a 90 to 260 V power supply. The light is suitable for the living room, dining room, kitchen, and hallway. The tinted transparent glass provides a warmer light than white. The smoked glass tint intensifies when the bulb is warm.

Placed at the right height, it allows guests to see each other from either side of the table. A bar that is too short leaves the ends of the table without light, while a bar that is too long seems overwhelming. It pairs well with brass, leather, and dark wood. The warm light of a filament bulb remains visible through the smoked glass and creates a kitchen decor.

Smoked glass works well with beige walls, dark wood, and brass. In a white room, it provides a touch of warmth. Above an island, it creates a line of luminous markers.

The black of the bar structures the ensemble and serves as a horizon line. The entrance hall is another possible location.
