Fluted resin wall light – Rondin

A sage-green half-cylinder, streaked with vertical fluting. It rests flush against the wall like half a column. The Rondin fluted resin wall light has a matte, almost powdery surface. The surface is matte, slightly chalky, and covered with fine vertical ribs. The green is soft, somewhere between sage and olive. The colour does not shine: the resin absorbs rather than reflects.

Light exits from the top and bottom. It travels up the wall in a wide halo, then descends in a shorter cone. The fluting catches shadow and brightness. The ribs catch the light from above and let it slide downward. Small shadows form between each rib. At the bottom, the halo is shorter and denser. At the top, it spreads across the wall.
