3-Light Smoked Glass Pendant Light – Kagu

Three smoked grey glass globes hang from a rectangular black rail. In the centre of each globe, a luminous ring stands out against the dark background of the glass. This smoked glass pendant light aligns its three lamps like three lanterns placed side by side.

The glass is tinted and translucent, revealing the black structure inside. Each lamp is suspended by its own thin, straight black cord, attached to the rail. When turned on, the light passes through the smoked glass and takes on a soft, dimmer hue than with clear glass.

Above a dining table or kitchen island, the three lamps create a regular line. The black rail reads like a graphic stroke on the ceiling, and the smoked glass adds depth without weighing down the room.

The model is available in a three-light version with 16 cm globes and the option of adjustable lighting. The cords are height-adjustable: lower the lamps for a dining table, or raise them for a walkway. For a table, allow about 75 to 85 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the globes. This distance allows for eye contact without obstructing conversation.

The pendant is compatible with dimmable LED bulbs: lower the light for dinner time, or brighten it for cooking or working at the table. The stated illuminated area is 5 to 10 m², which is suitable for an average dining room or dining nook.

The black steel rail is long enough to cover a rectangular table. Centre it above the table with a little margin on each side, and adjust the spacing between the lamps before drilling the ceiling.
