Wood and glass wall light – Natura

A milky white glass cube, encircled in its middle by a light wood band. The Natura Lumina wood and glass wall light seems to balance around this band. The wood band surrounds the cube like a belt. It is smooth, slightly grained, and natural in colour. The edges of the cube are sharp, with no visible radius of curvature.

The glass diffuses light across all its faces. A portion descends onto the wall, a portion ascends. The wood band remains visible, slightly illuminated at its edges. The milky white glass does not reveal the bulb. It merely lets an even clarity pass through its four sides. The light rises and falls in two sheets, and the wood remains illuminated at the edges.

In a hallway, bedroom, or entryway, it forms a solid volume on the wall. It does not create a beam, but rather a clear mass. Against a dark wall, the cube appears to float. Against a light wall, it blends in. In a bedroom, the cube reads as a small luminous volume placed on the wall.

The model comes in only one version, in natural wood. It measures 22 cm wide, 13 cm deep, and 17 cm high. The socket is E27 type, 60 W maximum. The bulb is not included. The power is limited to 60 W: it is better to choose an equivalent LED.

A warm white LED is sufficient. A more powerful bulb illuminates the wall more, but it makes the cube appear whiter. The cube is compact enough to be installed in a narrow hallway.

The only option is the bulb. A warm LED keeps the glass creamy white. A neutral LED makes it brighter. If the wall is white, the milky glass takes on a warmer hue than the wall. The cube measures 22 cm wide by 17 cm high: it fits on a hallway wall without obstructing the walkway.

At the foot of the bed or on a console, a table lamp extends the same soft light. The other wall lights in the shop allow you to compare shapes, materials, and light tones before choosing.

The light wood complements oak or ash furniture. The white glass matches a painted or plastered wall. The wood band remains in relief and draws the eye before the glass. The wood remains warm to the touch, which contrasts with the cold, smooth glass.
