Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: 8 October 2026

ARTICLE 1 – SCOPE

These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") apply to sales made by LGM Concept, trading as Atelier LUMINA ("the Seller", "we", "us" or "our"), to consumers who buy products through our website ("the Customer" or "you").

They set out the conditions for orders, prices, payment, delivery, cancellation, returns and the statutory rights that apply to products bought through our website.

The version that applies to your order is the version on the website when you place the order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

ARTICLE 2 – PRODUCTS

Atelier LUMINA sells lighting products, including pendant lights, displayed on the website.

The main characteristics of each product (description, dimensions, materials and other relevant specifications) are shown on its product page. Please read them before you order.

We take reasonable care to make sure product descriptions, photographs and illustrations are accurate. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen settings, lighting and photographic conditions.

Products are subject to availability.

ARTICLE 3 – SELLER INFORMATION

LGM Concept – Atelier LUMINA
47 Rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France
SIRET: 10775841900017
Email: contact@atelierlumina.com
Telephone: +33 7 81 73 09 62

Customer service: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Paris time (8:00 am to 5:00 pm UK time).

ARTICLE 4 – ORDERS AND FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT

You select the products you wish to buy and add them to your basket. Before you pay, you can review your products, quantities, delivery details and total price, and correct any errors.

By placing an order and paying, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate and that you accept these Terms. Your order is an offer to buy the products.

After you order, we will send you an email acknowledging that we have received your order. This is not acceptance of your order.

The contract between you and us is made when we send you a shipping confirmation email telling you that your products have been dispatched. If we cannot accept your order, we will tell you by email and refund any payment you have made.

We may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch where there is a legitimate reason, such as suspected fraud, an obvious pricing or technical error, a product being out of stock, or an unresolved payment dispute. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund you using the original payment method.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

ARTICLE 5 – PRICES AND IMPORT CHARGES

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). The total price you pay, including delivery, is displayed before you submit your order.

Prices shown do not include UK import VAT, customs duties or carrier fees that may be charged on delivery. See our Shipping Policy.

We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders we have already accepted. If we discover a pricing error in an order you have made, we will contact you and give you the choice of continuing at the correct price or cancelling. If we cannot reach you, we will treat the order as cancelled and refund you.

We will not charge you any extra optional payment without your express agreement.

ARTICLE 6 – PAYMENT

Payment is due when you place your order.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include payment cards and other methods offered by our payment providers. Payments are processed through secure payment systems, and we do not store your full card details.

We may suspend or cancel an order if payment is refused, cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud.

ARTICLE 7 – DELIVERY

We deliver to addresses in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Orders are generally processed and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. The estimated delivery time after dispatch is generally 6 to 8 business days, so the estimated total delivery time is generally 7 to 10 business days.

These times are estimates. Unless we have agreed a different delivery period with you, we will deliver the goods without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of the contract being made.

If we fail to deliver on time, you may give us a further reasonable period to deliver. If we still fail to deliver, you may treat the contract as at an end and we will refund everything you have paid without undue delay.

Standard delivery to the United Kingdom is free of charge. You are responsible for giving us an accurate and complete delivery address. We will send you tracking information where available.

ARTICLE 8 – RISK AND OWNERSHIP

We are responsible for the goods while they are in transit with a carrier we choose. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you name other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. Ownership passes to you when we have received payment in full. This does not affect your statutory rights.

ARTICLE 9 – RIGHT TO CANCEL

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the goods. If your order is delivered in several parcels, it ends 14 days after you receive the last one.

To cancel, you must tell us clearly before the period ends, by email at contact@atelierlumina.com, by post at the address in Article 3, or using the Model Cancellation Form in our Returns & Refund Policy. You do not have to use the form.

You must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you tell us you are cancelling. If you cancel because you have changed your mind, you pay the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed otherwise. If you were not told clearly about this cost, you do not pay it.

You may handle the product only as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. If you handle it more than that, we may deduct from your refund an amount for the loss in value, where the law allows.

The right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This does not affect your rights for faulty or non-conforming goods.

ARTICLE 10 – RETURNS

Before returning a product, please contact contact@atelierlumina.com. We will give you return instructions.

Unless we give you another address, returns go to:

Matthieu Le Gale – LGM Concept / Atelier LUMINA
47 Rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France

Please keep your proof of postage. Because returns leave the United Kingdom, a customs declaration may be needed, and we will explain what to do when you contact us.

For faulty, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods, we pay the reasonable cost of returning them.

ARTICLE 11 – REFUNDS AFTER CANCELLATION

If you validly cancel, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We do not have to refund extra cost if you chose a more expensive delivery method.

We will refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back, or after you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. We may withhold the refund until then.

We refund in pounds sterling using the original payment method, unless you agree otherwise. We do not charge a fee for refunds.

ARTICLE 12 – FAULTY, DAMAGED OR NON-CONFORMING GOODS

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose and as described.

If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the contract, please contact us at contact@atelierlumina.com with your order number and, where possible, photographs. This helps us, but it does not remove any of your rights.

You may have the following remedies:

- a short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods within 30 days of delivery, for a full refund;
- a right to repair or replacement;
- a right to a price reduction, or a final right to reject, if repair or replacement does not solve the problem.

A fault that appears within 6 months of delivery is presumed to have been present at delivery, unless we prove otherwise.

Repair or replacement will be carried out within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, and we will bear the necessary costs.

ARTICLE 13 – LIGHTING PRODUCTS

Product information. Voltage, lamp (bulb) type, maximum wattage, IP rating and installation requirements are shown on the product page or in the instructions supplied. Please read them before you buy and before you install.

Installation. Some lighting products must be connected to the mains. Such products must be installed by a competent person and in line with applicable safety standards, including BS 7671 (the IET Wiring Regulations). We strongly recommend a qualified electrician for any hard-wired installation. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by incorrect installation, modification or use contrary to the instructions, but this does not affect your statutory rights.

Lamps (bulbs). Use only lamps of the correct type, voltage and maximum wattage. Lamps are consumable items and are not repaired or replaced free of charge once they have reached the end of their normal life.

Inspection. Please inspect the product on receipt and before installation. If you wish to cancel, do not install, hard-wire or modify the product.

ARTICLE 14 – CHANGING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER BEFORE DISPATCH

To change or cancel an order before dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@atelierlumina.com. We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee it once processing or dispatch has begun. This does not affect your statutory right to cancel after the contract has been made.

ARTICLE 15 – PERSONAL DATA

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, how it may be shared, how long we keep it and your rights.

ARTICLE 16 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content of our website, including texts, photographs, images, graphics, logos and designs, is protected by intellectual property law. Unless the law allows it, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially use it without our prior permission.

ARTICLE 17 – LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for the terms implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We are responsible for losses you suffer that are caused by our breach of these Terms, unless the loss was not foreseeable.

We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, subject to your statutory rights. If such an event prevents us from performing for more than 30 days, either of us may end the contract and we will refund any sums paid for goods not delivered.

ARTICLE 18 – GOVERNING LAW

LGM Concept is a business established in France. These Terms are governed by French law.

However, if you are a consumer living in the United Kingdom, this choice of law does not take away the mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of the part of the United Kingdom where you live. You may bring proceedings before the courts of England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, as applicable to where you live.

ARTICLE 19 – COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at contact@atelierlumina.com. We will acknowledge it promptly and try to resolve it directly with you.

UK consumers can also get free, independent advice from Citizens Advice: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from bringing a claim before a court with jurisdiction.

ARTICLE 20 – CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply to future orders from the date they are published. The Terms that apply to your order are those in force when it was placed.
