Travertine globe wall light – Solara

A capsule-shaped travertine slab, elongated, standing against the wall. Its upper edge curves forward. A white globe rests on it like a marble. Solara exists in only one version. Travertine is a natural stone: the holes and veins vary from one piece to another; you will not receive the exact piece in the photo. The small holes in the stone are features inherent to this material; they do not constitute a defect.

Consider the installation height. The globe is located at the top of the slab. Placed at shoulder height, it lights a bed. Placed higher, it lights a hallway. The wood of the support is hidden behind the slab; only the stone is visible.

There are no colours or sizes to choose from. The choice is made on the wall: a light plaster brings the stone closer to the wall colour, while a dark wall makes it stand out like an object. If the wall already receives a lot of daylight, the stone takes on a lighter shade and appears less pronounced.
