Travertine disc wall light – Moon

A flat, pale stone disc with shades of beige and sand. A halo of light spills over its edge. The Travertin Halo travertine disc wall light reads like a moon resting on the wall. The disc is flat, smooth around the rim, with indentations on the face. The veins are horizontal and sand-coloured. The indentations on the front catch the halo's light and create small shadows.

The light is behind the disc, not in front. The wall is illuminated in a circle around the stone. The front face retains its veins and indentations. It is stronger at the bottom than at the top. The halo is more intense near the edge, then spreads across the wall.

Above a bed, a console table, or in an entryway, it replaces a painting. When turned off, it remains a stone disc. On the wall, it reads as a circle. Up close, it resembles raw stone. In a bedroom, a trio of 20 cm discs reads as a composition.

The 20 cm is grouped in a trio. The 30 cm is installed alone. The diameter should be chosen based on the wall: a small disc gets lost on a large section of wall, while a large disc overwhelms a small wall.

The travertine is natural: textures and shades are unique to each piece. The LED source is integrated. The wider the diameter, the wider the halo. The front face retains its indentations and veins in all three sizes, though they are more visible on the large format.
