Textured dome pendant light – Basalt

An irregular, light grey dome hangs from a black wire. Its surface is rough, like smoothed cement. This textured dome pendant light resembles a hollowed-out pebble. Beneath the rim, a filament bulb illuminates the interior. The uneven edges give the shape the appearance of a felt hat worn at an angle.

The exterior is matte and grainy. The interior is lighter and reflects light downward. The contour is wavy, without strict symmetry. The very fine black wire blends into the shadows.

Above a round table or an island, it casts light in a warm circle. Nearby walls take on a beige tint. When turned off, it remains an object of light-coloured stone. In the evening, the warm light highlights the grain of the material inside the dome.

Five sizes are available: 30, 40, 50, 60, and 80 cm. The 30 cm is suitable for a counter or an entryway. The 50 cm is suitable for a four-person table. The 80 cm is suitable for a large living room. An open-dome type is offered. The 30 cm dome remains compact, while the 80 cm becomes a dominant feature of the room.

Two finishes are available: Nordic white and cement grey. The white blends into a light wall. The cement grey gives the look of raw concrete. The material is textured, which catches grazing light.

Installation is ceiling-mounted, with plate and hardware included. Choose between white and grey depending on the ceiling: a white ceiling calls for Nordic white, a concrete wall calls for grey.
