Natural Stone & Wood Pendant Light – Seki

A long, narrow block of light-coloured stone hangs from a wood-coloured cord. The stone is pitted with small cavities and topped with a brown wooden ring. This natural stone pendant light reads like a small suspended column, silent and very simple.

The ceiling canopy is made of wood, in the same shade as the ring and the cord. Nothing protrudes: a single material for the top, a single one for the bottom. The stone retains its cream colour and irregular grain, bringing a bit of raw material into a sober room.

In the evening, the light exits from below and falls straight onto the surface. You mainly see the illuminated circle on the table or countertop, and barely the stone itself.

Natural stone and wood pendant light, 170 cm adjustable cord

The model is presented as a single-head version. The cord measures 170 cm and is height-adjustable: shorten it above a countertop, or leave it longer in a space with high ceilings. Above an island or a table, plan for about 75 to 85 cm between the surface and the bottom of the stone.

The advertised illuminated area is 3 to 5 m². It is a targeted light, designed for a specific spot: a dining nook, the end of a counter, a bedside table, or a desk area. In a larger room, it serves as accent lighting or can be installed in a series.

As the stones are natural, their shades and cavities differ from one piece to another. Two Seki pendants are therefore never strictly identical, which is part of their charm.

Cylindrical pendant light for kitchens, bedrooms, and dining rooms

The stone and wood harmonise with stone countertops, light oak, linen, and plastered walls. In a kitchen, two or three pendants aligned above an island form an even row. In a bedroom, a pendant on each side of the bed replaces the bedside lamp and clears the table.

Its natural and refined spirit, close to Japanese and Scandinavian styles, is as suitable for a contemporary interior as it is for a bohemian decor. It does not fare well in cluttered settings: it requires a bit of empty space around it.

The power supply accepts 90 to 260 V and the light fitting carries the CE mark.
