Inside, a visible filament. This smoked glass and brass bedside lamp reveals its bulb through the ribs. The globe is hollow and thin, with ribs reminiscent of an antique jar.

The vertical ribs break the light into bands. The glass tints it a light brown. The round brass base reflects that same warmth. The straight filament can be glimpsed behind the ribbed glass, doubled by refraction. The glass is irregular up close: small bubbles and slight variations in thickness can be seen under magnification.

On a bedside table, it illuminates a narrow circle around the bed. The ceiling and walls remain in the dim light. The brass base is wide and low, giving the lamp a stable footing.

Ribbed glass and brass table bedside lamp, gold finishes, ambient lighting

The spec sheet indicates a glass globe and a brass structure, with gold finishes. A small globe bulb respects the proportions of the glass.

The bulb’s shape remains visible through the glass. A warm white filament bulb highlights the ribs. An opal bulb softens the overall look. Over time, the brass acquires a softer patina that complements the smoked glass. Compare the height of the globe with that of the bedside table so that the whole remains proportional.

The lamp is placed, without mounting, on a bedside table, console, or shelf. Plug the lamp into a socket near the bedside; the cable runs behind the furniture. Since the globe is closed at the top, very little light travels upward and it remains concentrated downward.

Before choosing, compare the shapes and materials in our table lamps collection. Above the furniture, our wall lights provide a second, higher light source.

Bedside lamp for bedroom, entryway, and living room

The compact globe leaves room on the bedside table. It is suitable for narrow tables where a lampshade would take up too much space. On a nightstand, it leaves room for a book and a glass of water.

This smoked glass and brass bedside lamp goes well with linen, light wood, and ceramic. The brass gradually takes on a soft patina. In an entryway, it welcomes guests with a low point of light on a console table.

It provides a low light that does not disturb someone sleeping nearby. The globe can be cleaned with a soft cloth, without abrasive products. It also fits perfectly on a shelf, where it illuminates a row of books.

Specifications

Type: table bedside lamp, ambient lighting.

Materials: glass globe, brass structure.

Style: refined contemporary, gold finishes.

Usage: indoor, bedroom, entryway, living room.

Installation: none, table lamp.
