applique-murale-conique-en-travertin-modele-lectra
Travertine reading wall light – Lectra

A conical lampshade in light-coloured stone, pointing downward, attached to a black arm. Behind it, a round, red wood plate. The travertine reading wall light Travertin Lumière is shaped like a small funnel. The cone is thick, rough, and pitted with small cavities. Its colour varies from cream to beige depending on the angle of the light. The stone's cavities are small, regular, and matte.

The light exits from the bottom of the cone, forming a sharp circle. The stone, pierced with small holes, remains matte. The black arm contrasts with the light-coloured materials. The black arm is short, almost straight. It contrasts with the light stone and the wood washer. The red wood washer provides a warm point of colour near the wall.

Above a bedside table or in a reading nook, it illuminates a book or a glass placed nearby. The rest of the wall remains in semi-darkness. Above the bedside, it leaves the table clear. Beneath it, the stack of books receives all the light. The cone keeps the light directed downward, leaving the other half of the bed in darkness.

Travertine, wood, and metal reading wall light for headboards

This product page offers a single version, in natural travertine, wood, and metal. The stone is not identical from one piece to the next. The bulb is placed inside the cone, and its glare remains hidden from the side. The wood of the washer and the stone of the cone do not resemble each other: one is smooth, the other porous, and it is this contrast that is noticed first.

The cone focuses the light. Choose a warm, moderately powered bulb: light that is too bright will glare under the lampshade. Install the mounting plate about 120 cm from the floor, at shoulder level. The metal of the arm is matte, with no distracting reflections. The light depends primarily on the bulb, and a warm hue remains the most pleasant for reading at the end of the day.

The installation height determines reading comfort. Too high, and the light falls on the forehead. Too low, and it only illuminates the table. A tall bedside table requires a slightly higher installation so that the cone stays above the book.

At the foot of the bed or on a console, a table lamp extends the same low-level light. Other wall lights in the shop allow you to compare shapes, materials, and light tones before choosing.

Cone wall light for bedroom, living room, and reading nook

The cone directs the beam and protects the other half of the bed. Two symmetrical wall lights on each side illuminate each person's page. It pairs well with a light wood bedside table.

A travertine reading wall light like Travertin Lumière is used primarily at night, when the other half of the bed is asleep. The cone directs the light; it does not spread it. The cone prevents glare and direct light in the eyes of the neighboring sleeper.

Wall installation, mounting plate and hardware provided.
