lampe-a-poser-led-pour-chevet-et-bureau-modele-oreade
Brass and globe table lamp – Oréade

A slender, oval brass frame stands on a round base. A white glass globe is suspended at the top of the frame. This brass and globe table lamp is contained within a single golden line. The oval frame is traced with a single stroke of metal, with no visible weld on its front face.

The brass is shiny in some areas and matte in others. The globe is smooth and milky, with no trace of the bulb. The oval frame leaves a large void in the centre, through which the wall is visible. The globe hangs from the top of the frame, like a pearl in a ring. The frame creates a large empty space in the centre: the wall or decor behind the lamp can be seen through it.

On a bedside table or desk, it casts a circle of light around it. In the evening, the globe glows and the brass regains its hue. The round base is heavy and stabilises the piece, despite the finesse of the frame.

LED table lamp for bedside and desk, brass frame, black or gold finish

The product sheet indicates two finishes: black and gold. The photo shows the gold version. The black finish changes the perception of the frame, turning it into a graphic line; the gold complements wood and linen. The black version provides a graphic line and contrasts with a light-coloured wall.

The light source is an LED. The lamp is portable, requiring no drilling. The gold version warms the light and pairs well with wood, linen, and ceramic. The round base is wide enough to place the lamp on a narrow bedside table.

It can be placed on a bedside table large enough for the base, or on a desk. The oval frame requires a bit of space around it. As the oval frame is tall, check the clearance under a shelf or wall light. The gold finish has a warm hue, similar to antique brass.

To compare with other low light sources, browse our table lamps. A wall light can extend the same light to the adjacent wall, using similar materials and shades.

Brass table lamp for bedside, desk, and console

The thin frame keeps the nightstand uncluttered. The globe illuminates a book without dazzling the person sleeping. In the evening, the globe remains visible from the other end of the room without lighting up the ceiling.

This brass and globe table lamp is suitable for bedrooms, offices, and entryways. It coordinates well with linen, light wood, and ceramic. On a desk, it replaces a bulkier lampshade.

The brass should be cleaned with a soft cloth, without abrasive products. The frame can be dusted with a single motion, as its surfaces are smooth. In an entryway, it lights up a console table without occupying its entire width.

Specifications

Type: LED table lamp.

Available finishes: black, gold.

Light source: LED.

Usage: indoor.

Installation: tabletop, no drilling required.
